DSP Spotlight – Cortney Thompson

Because of their dedication, we’re able to help hundreds of individuals with disabilities live fulfilling lives in central Missouri.

How long have you worked for ACT?

Six months.

What’s your favorite memory while working at ACT? 

When the individuals say they want me to be with them the next day.

What brought you to this line of work?

Wanting to make a difference to someone.

Why do you like working with ACT?

I like making the people we support smile and have fun.

If you had a superhero name what would it be?

Ms. Snarkey.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be, and why?

Be able to always say the right things to someone who needs it.
